- Custom and special order items are not returnable unless damaged or incorrect.
At Prestige Safe Co, part of Ascend Nexus LLC, we want you to feel confident when investing in a safe. Because safes are large and often built to order, our return process has to follow strict manufacturer rules. This page explains everything in plain language so there are no surprises.
Return window
You may request a return for eligible products within 30 days from the date your order is marked as delivered by the carrier. Requests made after 30 days are not eligible for return or refund.
Products that can be returned
- Standard, non custom safes that are listed on our website as regular stock items.
- Products in new, resaleable condition with all original packaging, hardware and manuals.
- Safes that have not been installed, bolted down, modified or used.
All eligible returns are subject to a 20 percent manufacturer restocking fee. For change of mind returns, you are responsible for the original outbound shipping cost and the return shipping cost back to the warehouse.
Products that cannot be returned
- Custom or special order products, including non standard sizes, finishes, configurations or any product labeled as custom, made to order or non returnable on the product page.
- Safes that have been installed, bolted down, modified or show signs of use.
- Items not returned in the original crate or protective packaging.
- Products damaged due to improper packing during return shipment.
- Clearance, closeout, open box or items marked as final sale at the time of purchase.
Refund structure

Product is unused and still in the original crate or packaging.

Opened, resaleable condition
Crate has been opened but the safe is unused, uninstalled and in like new condition.

The manufacturer makes the final decision on resaleable condition after inspecting the returned product.
If your order included promotional or free items, these must also be returned in new condition or their value and shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
Damaged or incorrect products
We take shipping damage and incorrect shipments very seriously. Please also review Shipping and delivery for step by step delivery inspection guidance.
- If you see visible damage at delivery, note it on the delivery receipt, take photos and contact us immediately at support@prestigesafeco.com or 1-302-302-1397.
- If you discover concealed damage after delivery, keep all packaging, take photos and notify us within 48 hours.
When damage or an incorrect product is confirmed, we work with the manufacturer to repair or replace the item. In these cases restocking fees do not apply and shipping is handled as part of the claim.
How to request a return
- Contact us at support@prestigesafeco.com or 1-302-302-1397 within 30 days of delivery. Share your order number, the item you wish to return and the reason.
- We confirm eligibility with the manufacturer and send written Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) instructions including the return address and any fees.
- Re pack the safe carefully in the original crate or equivalent protective packaging and follow the carrier instructions we provide.
- Once the warehouse has inspected the safe, we process your refund according to this policy and confirm by email.
Cancellations and refused deliveries
For orders that have not yet shipped, we will make every effort to cancel without penalty. For custom or special order products the manufacturer may charge a cancellation fee once production has started.
If a shipment has already left the warehouse and you cancel or refuse delivery for reasons not related to damage or our error:
- The order is treated as a return.
- A 20 percent restocking fee applies.
- All shipping and handling costs both ways are deducted from your refund.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. After the manufacturer or warehouse confirms the return, please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post funds.
